Shipping policy

Please read this policy carefully. It forms part of your agreement with Heat & Stone when you place an order.

1. Made-to-Order Lead Time

All items are handcrafted to order. Before your order is dispatched, a production lead time of 10-15 working days applies. You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready for dispatch.

Lead times are estimates and may vary during busy periods. We will communicate any delays promptly.

2. Dispatch & Delivery

We currently deliver within Cape Town only. Once your order is complete, we will contact you by email to confirm you delivery date . Deliveries are handled directly by us, so there is no third party tracking - but we will always be in touch before we arrive.

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. If the proposed delivery date does not work for you, please reply to the delivery confirmation email and we will find an alternative.

Delivery to areas outside Cape Town is not currently available. We are working on extending our delivery reach and will update this policy when national shipping become available.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the size/weight of your order. The cost displayed at checkout is the final shipping charge.

4. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you upon handover to the courier. We strongly recommend that you inspect your parcel upon delivery. If packaging appears visibly damaged, please photograph this before opening and notify us immediately.

If an item is lost in transit, please notify us within 10 days of the expected delivery date so that we can open an investigation with the courier.

5. International Shipping

We currently ship within South Africa only. International shipping is not available at this time. Please check back — this may change in future.

6. Incorrect Address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of checkout. Heat & Stone cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, re-delivery costs will be for the customer's account.
