Designed by an architect. Built in stone. Made to order.
At Heat & Stone, we celebrate the timeless beauty of natural materials through modern, made-to-order pieces.
Every table is shaped with precision and intention - a quiet rebellion against disposable design.
Bespoke stone tables shaped by passion,
precision and material honesty.
Every vein, every edge
Every table begins as a single slab - cut, shaped and finished in Cape Town. Made to order, never duplicated. Yours, exactly as it should be.
Yes. All Heat & Stone pieces are made to order.
Each marble or stone table is produced specifically for you, allowing us to carefully select the material and refine every detail with precision. This approach ensures a higher level of quality and individuality in every piece.
Production typically takes 12-15 working days from confirmation of your order.
Lead times may vary depending on the design, stone selection, and current production schedule. We will always provide a clear estimated timeline before production begins.
We currently offer delivery within Cape Town and surrounding areas.
We are working toward expanding delivery to other regions across South Africa in the near future. If you are located outside Cape Town, please contact us and we will do our best to assist where possible.
Yes. Due to the weight and scale of natural stone furniture, some tables require careful placement or assembly on site.
Where necessary, our delivery team will position and install your table to ensure it is handled safely and correctly.
Stone and marble tables are significantly heavier than timber or metal furniture due to the density of the material.
Weights vary depending on the size and design, but we always consider handling, delivery access, and installation requirements during the production process. If you have access concerns, we are happy to advise in advance.
Yes. Most of our dining tables, coffee tables, and side tables can be produced in any of the stones within our available range.
Because natural stone varies from slab to slab, we will guide you through the selection process to ensure the material aligns with your preferences.
Yes. Many of our marble and stone tables can be adjusted in size to suit your space.
If you require specific dimensions, please contact us with your requirements and we will confirm feasibility along with a quotation.
Yes. In addition to our core collection, we offer bespoke stone furniture.
You are welcome to share sketches, reference images, or dimensions for a unique table design. We will review your request and provide feedback and pricing where possible.
Natural stone is inherently unique. Variations in veining, tone, and pattern are part of the beauty of the material and mean that no two tables are ever identical.
Your table will reflect the character of the selected stone, but it will not be an exact replica of reference images.
Where possible, we can share photographs or arrange viewing of the selected slab prior to fabrication.
This helps ensure you are comfortable with the material before production begins.
Yes. Marble and natural stone tables are durable and suitable for everyday living when used with normal care.
We apply appropriate finishes and sealing to protect the surface, and with proper maintenance your table should age beautifully over time.
We recommend cleaning with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner.
Avoid harsh chemicals, acidic substances, and abrasive products. Care guidance specific to your stone type will be provided upon delivery.
Because each Heat & Stone piece is made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
If your table arrives with a manufacturing defect, damage, or does not match the confirmed specifications, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange repair or replacement where appropriate.
Full details are available in our Returns Policy.
